A remake should not disappear inside the original order notes. Create a linked record that states why the remake was opened, which approved artwork it uses, and what must be checked before the replacement is accepted.
This preserves the original evidence and makes the corrective step visible. It also helps a small team avoid treating a remake as an undocumented repeat run.
