An older engraving file can look complete while hiding one important question: where was the design positioned relative to the blank? Add a short origin note before closing a project, then read that note before reopening it.

The note can name the reference edge, artwork orientation, and the photo used to confirm placement. If the setup has changed, treat the file as a starting point rather than assuming it is ready to run.

For AntBelt G1 planning, this is a file-control habit, not a promise that one setup transfers unchanged to another. Material, artwork, positioning, current operating guidance, and supervised testing still matter.
